A Phuket Villa for Three Generations
Six bedrooms, a separate cottage, a 2,000 sqm garden, and a kids pool — for the family stay that needs to work for everyone.
Villa Princess Maria is built for multi-generational families. The 6-bedroom main villa accommodates parents and children; the separate 2-bedroom cottage gives grandparents (or older children, or a nanny) genuine privacy with their own entrance. A 2,000 sqm garden lets young children play safely; the kids pool zone gives them a dedicated swim area; the dining and living spaces scale up for everyone together. Up to 12–14 guests in total.
Why Three Generations Work Here
Cottage for Grandparents (or Staff)
A separate 2-bedroom cottage with its own entrance lets grandparents have privacy and independence — they can join when they want and retreat when they don't.
2,000 sqm Garden
A large enclosed garden gives small children space to run, ride scooters, and play without being underfoot. Lawn games and a dedicated kids zone available.
Pool Designed for Mixed Ages
Kids pool zone for the youngest, full pool for older children and adults, sala and loungers for grandparents. Three groups in the same space without compromise.
Dining for Everyone
Long dining table seating 12+ on the terrace; smaller children's table set up at meal times. Chef adapts the menu for adult and children's palates.
The Brief: Make It Work for Everyone
Multi-generational holidays fail when the property forces compromise. Grandparents are in a hotel room down the corridor; parents are bathing children in the main suite; older children are eating early in the kitchen. Villa Princess Maria was designed to remove these compromises. The cottage gives the older generation an independent base. The garden gives the youngest a safe space. The dining terrace gives everyone a place to come together at meals. The pool works for three age brackets simultaneously.
A Typical Day Across Three Generations
Grandparents: a slow morning coffee in the cottage garden, then breakfast on the main terrace when ready. Parents: kids pool by 9am, breakfast in stages. Children: garden, scooters, kids pool, lunch on the sala. Mid-afternoon: grandparents nap in the cottage, parents and children to the beach (5 minutes' walk). Evening: chef-prepared dinner on the terrace; youngest children finish first and move to the family room while adults extend.

How many guests can the villa accommodate?
The main villa houses 12 guests across 6 bedrooms. The separate 2-bedroom cottage houses 4 more — total capacity approximately 14 with adults sharing. Most multi-generational families book 10–12.
Why is the cottage important for multi-generational stays?
The cottage has its own entrance, kitchen access, and 2 king-bed suites. Grandparents (or older children, or a travelling nanny) can have privacy and independence — joining the main villa when they choose.
Is the garden safe for young children?
Yes. The 2,000 sqm garden is enclosed and overlooked from the main living areas. Lawn games, soft play areas, and shaded zones. Removable pool safety fence available on request.
Can the chef accommodate children's menus?
Yes. Standard practice: simpler children's versions of adult meals, dietary requirements accommodated, snack provisions stocked, and meal times flexible to children's rhythm.
Is the villa right for a wedding plus family week?
Yes. Many multi-generational stays are anchored around a family event — a wedding, milestone birthday, or anniversary. We coordinate with wedding planners and event teams as part of the booking.
