The cottage was a game-changer for our family holiday. My elderly parents had their own private space with a separate kitchen and entrance, while our grandchildren ran freely between the main house bedrooms. With six bedrooms across the two buildings, nobody had to share — that alone made the trip stress-free. Chef Somchai delivered cottage breakfast trays to my parents each morning without them needing to walk to the main villa. Beautifully thought-out property.

We spent New Year's here with 12 family members and it worked brilliantly. The two kitchens meant early risers had breakfast in the cottage while the rest of us slept in and ate later at the main villa — no schedule conflicts at all. In the evenings the pool bar became our cocktail headquarters, and Chef Somchai managed to serve all twelve of us a spectacular multi-course Thai dinner simultaneously. Khun Noi kept the whole operation running like clockwork.

A perfect family reunion villa. The kids were obsessed with the cinema room and barely wanted to leave, while the adults spent long evenings dining on the terrace overlooking the Andaman Sea. We booked the private chef at $150 per day and it was worth every penny — Somchai cooked three meals daily for twelve of us, switching effortlessly between Thai and Western dishes. The two-building layout gave grandparents their peace while kids had the run of the gardens.

Six couples celebrating our anniversary trip, and each couple had their own bedroom with ensuite — no awkward sharing arrangements. The sala became our evening gathering spot where James the butler served cocktails as the sun went down over Kata Noi. We dined together every night at the long outdoor table, with Chef Somchai creating a different themed menu each evening. The two buildings gave just enough separation for everyone to recharge during the day.

Exceptional panoramic views and Chef Somchai's cooking alone justify the trip. The smart-home features throughout both buildings are genuinely impressive — lighting, climate, entertainment all controlled from tablets. One honest note: the hillside setting involves steps between the main villa and cottage, which may challenge guests with limited mobility. Despite that minor consideration, the quality of finishes, the privacy of the grounds, and the attentiveness of the staff place this villa among the best I have experienced.

We came seeking tranquility and Villa Princess Maria delivered beyond all expectations. The garden beauty here rivals anything we have seen in Japan — meticulously maintained pathways, flowering borders, mature trees creating natural privacy screens between the buildings. The staff showed a Japanese-level attention to detail that moved us deeply: fresh arrangements in our room, perfectly timed service, anticipating needs we had not voiced. Mornings in the cottage were blissfully quiet, just birdsong and the distant pool fountain.
